Singapore, 15th May 2018 – Leading global logistics provider, Nippon Express, taps on JCDecaux Singapore’s digital slider to run its inaugural campaign at Changi Airport from 8 May. The “Express Your Business” campaign on the digital slider at Changi Airport Terminal 2 will be the longest-running campaign on this platform to date. A distinct medium combining digital and static media in an airport environment, the digital slider is a highly prominent platform for the global logistics firm to reaffirm its presence in Southeast Asia by reaching out to travellers to and from major destinations in the region.
First unveiled in 2016, the digital slider holds immense potential for creative campaigns to display both static and dynamic visuals, with its 40 m2 sliding high-definition digital LED screen set against two 33 m2 large format panoramic lightboxes. This platform is among JCDecaux Singapore’s signature offerings at Changi Airport, and is situated at the Arrival Immigration area of Terminal 2, reaching over 496,000 travellers weekly.
Mr. Hiroshi Hasegawa, General Manager of Public Relations & Advertising at Nippon Express said, “As the number one logistics provider in Asia, the Southeast Asia region represents a key market in our global business. At the centre of this region lies Singapore, making Changi Airport the natural choice to enable us to better serve the business community in this very important market. The digital slider we selected stood out above all others due to its unique moveable slider, and because we thought it perfectly conveyed our new global message, “Express Your Business” as well as our promise, “We Find the Way.””
Ms Evlyn Yang, Managing Director of JCDecaux Singapore said, “The digital slider is a first of its kind platform in an airport environment, and is one of JCDecaux Singapore’s key offerings for advertisers at Changi Airport to effectively communicate with varied groups of travellers. We are heartened that Nippon Express has entrusted us through this media buy to deliver their messages in their first airport campaign, this is a testament to JCDecaux’s commitment in consistently offering the best services to brands we work with.”
