JCDecaux Singapore partnered with Samsung to create Singapore’s first out-of-home wireless charging stations, located at Singapore’s busiest bus stops along Orchard Road and the Central Business District.
Singapore, 8th April 2019– JCDecaux Singapore, the number one out-of-home media company in Singapore and a subsidiary of the JCDecaux Group, has partnered with Samsung to create Singapore’s first out-of-home wireless charging stations, located at Singapore’s busiest bus stops along Orchard Road and the Central Business District from 27th March 2019. Pedestrians will be able to experience the Wireless PowerSharing feature of the latest Samsung Galaxy S10+ flagship smartphone by interacting with these innovative builds at 10 selected bus stops.

To highlight the key feature of Samsung’s latest mobile phone in the campaign, the Galaxy S10+, JCDecaux fitted 10 of its bus stop panels with wireless charging devices. These ads placed in prime areas integrate mobile technology with connectivity and provided an added convenience in an urban setting. This serves to enhance the audience’s relationship with the brand by being relevant to consumers, artfully combining utility and entertainment.

These panels are located in areas frequented by shoppers and working professionals, and are within JCDecaux’s islandwide bus stop advertising network reaching millions of Singaporean residents and visitors. Samsung also ran campaigns on JCDecaux’s other platforms around Singapore, creating a complete suite of out-of-home touchpoints which include ION Orchard and Changi Airport.
