JCDecaux Singapore unveiled CHANEL’s first dynamic content campaign at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, bringing to life the iconic CHANEL J12.
Singapore, 23rd August 2018 – JCDecaux Singapore unveiled CHANEL’s first dynamic content campaign at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, bringing to life the iconic CHANEL J12. CHANEL’s first dynamic campaign started back in June, using flight data to show the time of selected cities two hours before take-off, as well as time from the cities of origin an hour after the flight has landed. This is the first of such a campaign JCDecaux has created for the luxury maison globally and is a testament to the versatility of the media owner’s dynamic content capabilities to complement luxury brand campaigns.

Departing visitors will be greeted with the classic black and white CHANEL J12 watches under a hallmark gateway visible by inbound and outbound passengers. On the static lightbox, the L’Instant CHANEL entitled “The Duel” features martial artistry in which their postures mirror the hands on the watch face to express the unique vision of time according to CHANEL. This is flanked by 360 pillars playing the campaign video on one face while showing the actual time on another face. Travellers will see a black J12 timepiece displaying Singapore time on one pillar, and a white timepiece displaying time at eight destination cities namely Paris, London, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei.

Stephanie Nussmann, Managing Director of CHANEL Singapore said, “With a strong institutional message and with creative dynamism aplenty, our time-honoured partnership with JCDecaux has allowed us to tap on their technological expertise to creatively develop a dynamic visual experience with the iconic CHANEL J12. The combination of the campaign visuals on the overhead lightbox with the impressive real-time displays on the pillars put a spotlight on the features of the CHANEL J12 watches. The campaign’s prime location in the airport environment also conveys the timeless prestige of CHANEL Horlogerie to a large number of travellers. We will surely continue to explore the possibilities of dynamic campaigns with JCDecaux going forward.”

Evlyn Yang, Managing Director of JCDecaux Singapore said, “It is an honour to work with CHANEL, a brand rooted in rich heritage, to push the boundaries of Out of Home media. This can only be sustained with JCDecaux’s dedication to top-notch quality standards and to ongoing innovation that has led to construction of campaign platforms befitting an international luxury powerhouse. We will continue stretching the creative possibilities for different campaigns relevant to the target audience and expand JCDecaux’s suite of dynamic solutions across Singapore.”
