Bus Shelter Campaigns

General
  • Creatives are only allowed within the perimeter of the bus shelter and on free-standing panels.
  • Should not obstruct traffic, street, bus service and other public signs as well as neighouring properties’ signage and entrances.
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 60cm between the outer edge of the creative and the road kerb.
  • Should not encroach onto surrounding pedestrian footpath(s). All footpaths must have an unobstructed clearance of 1.5m in width and 2.5m in height.
  • No sharp angles or edges on the creatives that may pose a hazard to the public.
  • Materials used must be fire retardant, anti-slip (floor stickers), and able to withstand the outdoor conditions.

    Island Lights
  • Maximum protrusion from the top of the panel - 120cm.
  • Protrusion on all other sides of the panel is subject to the space available after meeting the minimum space clearances stated above.
    Note: between 50 cm to 2.5m, maximum protrusion from the side of the panel - 10 cm
  • Any additional lightbox should not be overly bright.

    Roof Top Creatives
  • Maximum height protrusion from the top of the roof - 1.2m to a max of 1.5m (latter on case by case basis)
  • Ensure that the minimum space clearances stated above are complied with.
  • Roof creatives should resemble 3D models of the real objects and be treated on all sides with graphic visuals.
  • 2D die-cuts are permitted on the fascia board around the roof but should be treated front and back with visuals
  • Overhanging objects from the roof are allowed provided there are no sharp angles, are made of non-combustible materials and meet minimum height clearance of 2.2m. This is subject to LTA’s approval.
  • Hanging mobiles within the shelter are allowed provided there are no sharp angles, are made of non-combustible materials and meets minimum height clearance of 2.2m. Subject to LTA’s approval.
  • Spot lights on the roof for purpose of illumination should not shine towards the road.
  • Lightboxes on the roof should not be overly bright.

    Pillars / Floor / Seats
  • Floor stickers are only allowed within the perimeter of the bus shelter’s roof line, and as an extension from the free-standing panels
  • Stickers should be made or fire-retardant and anti-slip (floor) material.

    Creative Guidelines for Underpass Dressup and Creative Execution

    Stiker
  • ONLY 3M brand of sticker is allowed.

    Protrusion
  • Protrusion from wall must NOT exceed 15cm.
  • Hanging mobiles are NOT allowed.

    Approval

    In-Principle approval (flagships and 3D creatives on panels)
  • 4 weeks prior to campaign, soft copy mockup visuals showing all views (flagships - 4 sides and perspective top; 3D creatives on panels – front and back) to be submitted to obtain in-principle approval from relevant authorities.

    License Application (flagship only)
  • Upon in-principle approval, 2 sets of visuals (color) accompanied by a cover letter, technical drawings and calculations endorsed by a certified PE to be submitted at least 1 week prior to campaign.

    *All proposed creative and executions are subject to final approvals by the relevant authorities.
