Singapore, 15th April 2008
– Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) has booked JCDecaux Billboard network at 39 Keppel Road to promote its BroadBand on Mobile service to reach its target audience - tech-savvy PMEBs who requires broadband Internet access while on the move.
This eye-grabbing outdoor campaign, donned in its distinct red and white corporate hues, runs until end of June starting 1st April and was planned and booked by Mediaedg:cia. Taglined "Surf The Internet@ BroadBand speed everywhere", this high-impact billboard is part of SingTel's strategic role in a mixed media campaign incorporating other mediums such as print, online, buses, direct mailers, in-store promotions and point-of-sale materials.
Mr. Derrick Heng, Director of Marketing and Communications at SingTel, said the reason for choosing JCDecaux was because the billboard offered visibility to thousands of daily commuters plying the busy expressway which connects from the west to Changi Airport in the east via the City Centre, thereby strengthening the campaign through repeated exposure. Additionally, it was an excellent brand posturing for SingTel as the first advertiser to executive this L-shaped creative format.
