Nokia Showcases Iconic Mobile Music Twist with JCDecaux

- On 28th June, Nokia showcased the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic with an eight-week long campaign at the popular youths and young adults hangout precinct - Cathay Orchard Cineleisure, a JCDecaux Network, as part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about Nokia XpressMusic mobile phones.
Nokia booked a display area at Orchard Cineleisure as well as put up banners within the building to highlight the latest Nokia 5700 XpressMusic phone. Those who have not yet seen the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic will be pleased to find an eye-catching three-dimensional display of the two Nokia 5700 XpressMusic phones designed to connect like headphones. The phone's unique music-sharing capabilities are emphasised, for example music can be played out loud and shared amongst friends through its built-in stereo loudspeakers. In addition, when music is being played, music effects are shown on the screens of the mock-ups.
The campaign is targeted at two main groups of audience. The first is the active youth segment who is often out of their homes and loves to bring along their latest technology that plays music, video and games. The second is the consumer who seeks a converged mobile device that allows them to listen to good audio quality music as well as provide the flexibility to multiple smartphone functionalities and a web browser.
While music is known to act like a 'social glue' that brings people closer especially among the youths, it is also a catalyst that helps evoke emotions and facilitates a desire to connect with others. The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic was designed based on the core idea that "Music Connects People" arising from the brand belief of "Connecting People".
