SilkAir unforgettable affair on JCDecaux Streetside

Singapore, 12th July 2007 - On the streets of prime Orchard Road this week sees the launch of SilkAir’s latest outdoor awareness campaign using JCDecaux Streetside network to promote its various unique getaway destinations. The campaign, which commenced on 4th July, will run over 4 weeks.

Targeted at busy PMEBs, three bus shelters including the roofs, pillars, seats and high impact 12-sheet posters on Orchard Road located near Orchard Emerald, The Heeren and Lucky Plaza premises were dressed with images of iconic attractions and unique activities of the twenty-seven exotic destinations in the SilkAir network. Additionally, in its distinct green, blue, white hues, akin to SilkAir’s corporate image, these shelters have one clear message to convey to its target consumers that is “You never forget a SilkAir holiday” if you travel to SilkAir destinations. Apart from outdoor, SilkAir has concurrently communicated this message to its target audience via TV and in 2006, in print medium.

Madeline Chan, Group Account Director at Ogilvy & Mather comments “With JCDecaux’s strong ownership of media space along the busy entertainment and dining district of Orchard Road, it was an obvious choice for SilkAir to turn to JCDecaux as their out of home partner“.

“JCDecaux is proud to be SilkAir’s outdoor medium to broadcast its message to its target audience in an eye-catching and unforgettable way.” says Elise Yan, Marketing and Research Executive at JCDecaux Singapore.

The campaign was planned by Mindshare Singapore while Ogilvy & Mather Singapore oversaw the creative.
