Singapore, 31st October 2006 - Passer-bys walking through the linkway connecting Wisma Atria Mall and Ngee Ann City Shopping Centre are in for a treat to experience a spectacular array of art, lining the tunnel’s walls from 25th October to the 21st November.
This tactical campaign seeks to promote the use of its coloured pens, the Point 88 and Pen 68, showcasing the versatility of the pens and at the same time to encourage creativity. Stabilo hopes to drive home the message that Stabilo pens can be used by anyone who wishes to express themselves, not only artistically.
This idea is conceived and sponsored by German stationery company, Schwan-STABILO Singapore Pte Ltd. Art pieces were contributed from the public where they were given a set of STABILO pens and a piece of white board to help them express their dreams on the paper. Based on the theme, “Colour Your Dreams”, which was inspired by Stabilo’s tagline, the drawings are now displayed along JCDecaux’s linkway, which serves to reenact an exhibition walkway. Additionally, one of the key highlights of the exhibition is a live drawing session by Singaporean artist Shawn Ee on the 11th of November, who has produced work for clients such as Nickelodeon and Play Imaginative.
As Kennie Chang, Account Manager from Triads Communications explains, “The high foot traffic of teens and general age groups walking along Ngee Ann City linkway would certainly bring high visibility of the artworks and help increase the awareness of STABILO. Also, Stabilo pens can be found at stores which are within close proximity to the Linkway - Orchard Popular or Kinokuniya Bookstore.” JCDecaux is excited to be part of this creative-first with STABILO.
