JCDecaux is commited to pursue an economic development respectful of people and environment

To reflect the Group’s commitment to pursue an economic development respectful of people and the environment, the corporate Sustainable Development Direction was created in 2007.

JCDecaux group has been working proactively with cities, transport companies, airports and advertisers as well as media and advertising agencies to improve the urban environment. It is the Group’s continued dedication and endeavours to minimize the environmental impacts of its operating activities, conscientious effort to reduce use of energy and water, recycling posters and other waste as well as to increase development and implementation of “green” products.

Guided by the Group’s Ethical Charter, a framework of fundamental rules of ethics for relations with the public service, shareholders, the financial markets, JCDecaux is to ensure compliance with these rules. Regular audits are carried out to ensure progress is continuing and that measures are in place.
